Sometimes another pup finds their way into our lives after we’ve had to say goodbye to one we loved and a little part of us likes to believe they may have been sent our way for a reason.

Our double sided wooden memorial photo frame brings together the dog who shares your life now and the one who came before them, creating a special keepsake for 2 dogs who each hold their own place in your heart.

One side features a photo of your current dog alongside the words “The one I have now…”. Turn the frame over to reveal a photo of the dog who has passed, engraved with “…the one who sent them.”

The wording represents the comforting thought that the pet you loved and lost may somehow have had a part in sending your current dog into your life, not to replace them or the love you shared, but to bring a new kind of love into your life when you were ready for it.

Each frame is made by us from wood, with every piece cut, engraved and finished by hand to create a meaningful keepsake made especially for you and your pups. Your frame is painted in Light Buttermilk shade as standard.

If you’d like to make your frame even more personal, you can upgrade and choose a colour from our other colour options, whether it’s simply a colour you love or one that holds a special meaning. You can also choose to have each pet’s name engraved at the top of their side of the frame for an additional personal touch. The names will be small and subtle, allowing the photos and meaningful wording to remain the focus of the design.

Simply upload a photo of your current dog and a photo of the dog you’ve lost and we’ll print, cut and fit both photos into your frame for you, so your keepsake arrives complete and ready to display.

A beautiful way to bring two very special pups together and remember that opening your heart to another never takes away from the love you’ll always carry for the one who came before.

Perfect as a keepsake for yourself or as a thoughtful and meaningful dog loss gift for someone special.

Suitable for dogs, cats and other pets.

Please note: The engraving font on this design is cannot be changed. We’ve carefully selected and tested this font specifically for engraving over the paint to give the best result.

Every Pawthena Studio keepsake is lovingly crafted using carefully chosen materials to create something special that’s as unique as the dog it’s made for.

To provide added protection, every wooden keyring is carefully sealed with a clear protective lacquer finish, helping to preserve the wood, engraving and natural beauty of your keepsake.

🐾 Beautifully Unique

From the natural wood grain to the personalised portrait created from your photo, no two Pawthena Studio keepsakes will ever be exactly the same. Every piece is individually made to celebrate a companion who’s completely unique.

Pawthena may have started with one very special Labrador called Athena, but we know that love isn’t limited to dogs alone.

While our Pawthena Studio keepsakes are inspired by dogs and designed with pups in mind, we can also create designs featuring other beloved pets.

We’d be delighted to help create a keepsake that celebrates your special companion because every pet deserves to be remembered, treasured and celebrated.

Your order celebrates the dog you love and helps another dog in need.

The puppy who changed your life. The adventure buddy who never leaves your side. The rescue who found their forever home. The best friend who’s been there through it all.

Our dogs give us a lifetime of love packed into far too few years and we believe those memories deserve to be celebrated. That’s why every Pawthena Studio keepsake is lovingly created from the photos and memories you share with us, turning them into something special to treasure for years to come.

But while many of our dogs are lucky enough to have loving homes and families who adore them, not every dog is as fortunate.

There are dogs still waiting for their happy ending. Dogs waiting for a warm bed, a loving family, a full tummy, a safe place to call home and someone to call their own.

That’s why we’ve committed to donating 50p from every Pawthena Studio order to help support dogs in need.

As Pawthena Studio grows, we hope to make donations to rescue organisations including Staffie & Stray Rescue, Waggy Tails Rescue and Margaret Green Animal Rescue, helping more dogs receive the care, love and second chances they deserve.

So while your keepsake celebrates the dog who already has your heart, your order helps us give hope to dogs still waiting to find theirs.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the dogs we love while supporting dogs still waiting for their happy ending.

Inspired by dogs. Giving back to dogs.

Your keyring is custom made especially for you using the photos and details you provide, creating a one of a kind keyring inspired by the dog you love most. Because each piece is made just for you, we’re unable to accept returns, refunds, cancellations or exchanges.

Once you’ve placed your order, simply head over to the Pawthena Studio customisation form. Please ensure all photos, names, text and personalisation details are submitted carefully, as they’ll be used to bring your keyring to life.
